its been a long while wait.

The Haitian government has taken its time with this case.

First they postponed for a holiday, and now the power has gone out.

Not much anyone can do but wait on Haiti.

This is an update of what has happened today.

Charissa Coulter is in the hospital.

The prosecutor is printing his recommendation, if the electricity doesn’t go out.

The electricity is out, so nothing was printed.

Some missionaries will be released with the condition they come back, that means everyone but Silsby and Coulter.

They are now saying that they are waiting for the prosecutor to say he has no further objections to them being released.  He is expected to weigh in sometime later today or tomorrow.

Haiti’s government seems to be just like the rest of the world’s government. Except Singapore’s.

more news from my inside source.

well….. right now a lot of info coming out is up in the air. i just got off the phone with a lady from nbc that i met at the church, and she said that the judge they saw today recommended they all be tried, but he had no power to do it or release them. haitian court system is weird, the next judge they see, as soon as tomorrow but not for sure, has the power to release them or charge them.

but you know, the media sometimes doesn’t know what they are talking about, so take this with grain of salt.

i dont know about that laura silsby.

silas’s mom is really busy right now trying to free them. ive told a lot of people about this. look at sy’s wall. i think, if you havent already, send silas a wall post and his dad and others if your friends with them. maybe, if you have a photo of you and silas, or anyone from the group, together, put as your profile picture, it could be a reminder for people to pray.

i bet they will be on the today show and jay leno and larry king and in times magazine. its going to be crazy.

jordan

9 or 10 of them might be released today, and go to the DR to be sent home, or sent to the previous capital of haiti and held there. silsby might be the only one charged.

the news is crazy, cameras all over their faces, lots of footage of silas. looks like he’s been in the same clothes for a week.

i guess the judge in haiti hears all the evidence and then makes a decision, different from our jury in US.

also it looks like there is luggage in the back of one the trucks. the reporter looked at one piece and said it had the name danielle thompson.

sit tight and

go to channel 7 news now!

some more stuff….

here is the update. yesterday was supposed to be a hearing, but the judge showed up at 1 when it was supposed to take place at 8 am. the rumor is also the haitian government wasnt allowing their attorney into the courtroom. today the family got a lawyer, though, he only speaks french, might need help with the creole dialect. all wives and husbands in the USA were also on larry king live last night. you can find it online if you’d like to watch it.

oh yeah i went to the church in boise where the people are from and tons of news crews are there. its wierd.

also i advise not fasting for more than 30hrs. instead switch to something else, maybe food today, tv tomorrow, umm, internet and other activities you like.

I’m Calling You Out!

Yes i am. For all we know, Silas and his Father and The rest of the group have been in jail since friday. In a CNN article yesterday, morning, it said that “they have been in unsanitary conditions and have not eaten for two days.”

So Again i am calling you out! Everyone it is time to for fasting, time to do the little we can and give up food,
TV, a book, anything that makes you feel comfortable and safe and give that time to Fasting. Give that time to meditation and pray until this misunderstanding has been cleared up and the precious time that the Haitian Government has been wasting can be redirected to what really matters most, helping the poor and starving victims of the horrendous Earthquake.

New News

i think they are still in jail, one newspaper said they havent eated for a few days and are in unsanitary conditions. but who knows what could be true.

also my sister told me there was a news conference today at 3pm. you can watch on ktvb channel 7.

talked to my dad on the phone. him and my mom are just leaving new york city.
said they got interviewed by the dominican republic yesterday, a whole camera crew came and did the works. when they woke up today they got in the taxi to leave and all over the radio news was saying they came to steal organs from the orphans. so they left.

as for silas and the others, my dad asked the US Embassy and it said that they are hoping that they will be deported to the USA for trial because of the mass destruction in haiti. and hopefully after that the charges will be dropped.
